Hello I'm Sophie!

Pretty Essential Bakes is a home bakery based in Sheffield and rooted in a lifelong love for baking. What began as a childhood joy - mixing batter, decorating cookies, and creating treats for family, grew into a true passion that stayed with me through the years.

In 2025, I took a leap of faith and turned that passion into Pretty Essential Bakes: a small business dedicated to crafting custom cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes and other sweet treats, all made from scratch with care.
